How Kaizen IT Enabled Moneybox’s Growth Journey
Moneybox, founded in 2015, is a fast-growing fintech based in London. After launching in 2016, they helped thousands of people start investing using their spare change, and have since expanded into saving, investing, homebuying, and retirement planning.
In 2019, Moneybox engaged Kaizen to provide scalable IT services that could grow with the business. Kaizen designed a flexible model combining on-site engineering support, software licensing expertise, and proactive technical guidance - ensuring Moneybox’s workplace technology remained secure, resilient and ready to support rapid expansion.
Kaizen initially supported 50 users on a per-user pricing model, providing help desk services and weekly on-site engineering visits for proactive maintenance and system changes. As Moneybox grew, Kaizen played a key role in maintaining their mixed Windows and Apple environment, ensuring systems were both secure and flexible so the team could operate efficiently.
Security has been central to the partnership. Kaizen introduced enhanced access controls, update policies, and device management practices to ensure the organisation could grow with confidence while meeting the needs of a regulated financial services environment.
