Modernising IT infrastructure and strengthening security across Bristol and Dubai for Flourish

Network, servers, backups, and managed support for Flourish since May 2023 

Flourish is a specialist CRM company. Since May 2023, Kaizen IT has modernised their IT across Bristol and Dubai, upgrading the network, servers, backups, and security.

Challenges

Outdated and unsupported hardware and underperforming internal infrastructure, alongside a dated, at-capacity, unmanaged server and backup environment. Device management and security were also a concern, with the Mac estate completely unmanaged, and there was a clear need to consolidate IT support requests and ensure all locations were covered.

The Solution

Full replacement of the network backbone at the Bristol office, including implementation of a managed firewall and delivery of a full WiFi solution for the Bristol main site.

Server and backups

Replacement of the primary NAS devices, alongside a robust off-site replication service to strengthen disaster recovery and business continuity.

Device management and security

Implementation of a full MDM solution to enable application deployment and patching, OS updates, forced encryption, firewall controls, and remote wipe capabilities. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint was rolled out across all devices to further strengthen IT security.

IT support

Ongoing day-to-day IT support was provided for the Bristol office, acting as the single point of contact for support requests and ensuring issues were logged, prioritised, and resolved quickly. Shortly after the engagement began, Kaizen also took on remote support for Flourish’s Dubai team, giving staff there the same responsive helpdesk service and consistent standards of support. This consolidated IT support across both locations, improving visibility of issues, speeding up resolution times, and helping the business operate smoothly as it grew.
